  KT-52
KT-52 as  a flux in ceramic bodies. An addition of 1% kT-52 has significant effect as below:
  • the dry strength(unfired) in increased by 80-100%
  • the fired strength is 10% higher.
  • the firing temperature can be reduced by 20-25*C or the firing cycle can be shortened by about 6 minutes.
  • the internal porosity becanme more rounded which improve the clean-ability of tiles that are polished.
  • tiles are some changes in fired color.
  • emissions of F, CL from the furnace are reduced.
chemical:special cambinationa of phosphates addition with borates.
